Now you can download it. It's my favourite campaign.

Now in Haluter skin downloader you can download another skin of the same squatron 12.JG51 with the number 5. I usually like to edit the missions to mix the numbers so Falce 3 isn't necesarilly number 3 for example. Now that there are the tactical markings, when there is snow I use the white generic skins (with a mod of historical swastikas). The problem is there are not squadron marking when I do that. I also try to look for historical tactical codes of other planes on the zone and add them.

Hello again,

I'm reflying this wonderful campaign and I noticed that in mission 12, Falke flight doesn¡t climb over the airfield. I opened the editor and I cannot detect where is the error. I jnow som basic of editing, but not too much. Do you have the same problem?

Thank you!

My first go-to for issues like this with older campaigns/missions is to re-save it in the mission editor.

Probably I touched something I shouldn't touch while editing.

The link is the mission editor manual, not the mission, but I can download it anyway from the campaign link. Thank you!

Hello, I have a question - how do I extinguish the bonfire in mission 6?

Do I have to fly over it really low? Or do I have to strafe it?

Either way seems not working...

After like 1 million attempts, I managed to put out that fire by flying really, really low. Like 1m above.

The best approach, if I remember right, 'cause I've done that campaign more than 1 year ago, was to come from between some couple of buildings, hangars, something.

The campaign remains the one that i truly remember no matter what. IMHO, it is incredible(1) in several ways:

- 1 challenging

-1 difficult

-1 immersive

-1 different is approach and ideas

When Il2 Sturmovik Great Battles is gonna fade into oblivion, surpassed by newer simulators, this is the campaign I'm going to replay as farewell.

So, yes, I took out the fire by very, very low flying, after many attempts.

I did it!

Btw, mission 12 is not working - No.4 collides with the truck during taxiing and after we take off, the next waypoint fails to activate.

Actually, I have fixed the mission 12 for my own use - I found that first several waypoints have "ForceComplete" MCU's triggered by them, I couldn't understand why so I deleted them then the mission worked as intended.

Could you be kind and put a link to the fixed mission file here? I read what you said above, but.....;)

Now I can see that Samson posted the fixed mission No.12 a couple posts earlier, you can check it out now (I will be able to send you my variant only later).

I think the link to the entire campaign in the first post still has the old mission No.12..

I have finished the campaign with 28 kills and 13 ground targets destroyed. I can see why this campaign stands out in your memory @AndreiTomescu

Spoiler

Btw, the "weird mission" - I understand that after you land on the frozen river you are supposed to take off again and destroy the enemy truck nearby, aren't you? I taxied up to the nets so close that I had no chance to turn around, although I had been instructed to. The wheel brakes seemed to be almost useless in that particular location (maybe because the snow was too soft?) although I had taxied all right at the regular airfields. So when the game started telling me about the suspicious truck nearby, I knew there was nothing I could do.

yes, you are. if i remember correctly, you have to take off asap, because in the dark you won't find those damn command car and truck. I had to try several times because i've got disoriented. The snow is very hard to maneuver, yessss.....

Also, if I remember ok, it helps to turn around the aircraft once you approach those nets, and only after to turn off engine. If you came to a standstill, turning around by your own means (without help from some soldiers who lift your tail and turn you around) is....allmost impossible!
