BlueHeron Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 (edited) I'm posting this in different forums in case someone would like a similar solution. I'm currently using this with the VKB Gunfighter Pro, as opposed to a desk mount. A friend with a metal shop is willing to build and sell more of these. It's a little on the heavy side, but rock solid with an excellent grip. The stick is perfectly placed and there's no chance of wiggle or shifting. Compared to desktop sticks, this feels like the real deal. It simply attaches to the chair piston, and the base plate can be custom made for any brand of control stick. I highly recommend this! It might look like it gets in the way for other things, but it sits low enough that you can detach the grip extension from the VKB base and you won't even know the mount there. Guest deleted@134347 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 simple and elegant! If you're saying it's sold then it's a golden opportunity for VR!! check your 6 with the chair swivel and continue to fly the plane backwards.. !!!
EAF_51_FOX Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Better to have joystick indipendent from chair, better located on a solid wood-pedestal 30-35 cm (If you have extension on joystick) as you can move it at your side if you want to jump out from the chair in every moment: I made a solution similar at this guy above and it is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE sadly, believe me, I dismounted soon.
