KatieLuna Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 (edited) Title says it all. My rudder input, even if I release my joystick to 0 is at a different, deflected angle. I cannot see what cuases this. It persists even when I have my joystick unplugged. Video showing issue: When my stick is deflected, I am controlling. When it is in the centre, I am not. When in the settings, when it is moving side to side, and held still, it is my joystick. Edited February 25, 2018 by TheTacticalCat
Ghost666 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 do you have joy stick checked under settings/input devices?
KatieLuna Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 (edited) do you have joy stick checked under settings/input devices? Yes. My stick is the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS, bought it Sept. 2017. E: The Thrustmaster control panel registers the issue, is it a problem with my stick then? (at it's external to the game) Edited February 26, 2018 by TheTacticalCat
Rjel Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 (edited) An obvious question but did you calibrate it in Windows? I've had the same stick for a couple of years and not had an issue. Edited February 26, 2018 by Rjel
Sokol1 Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 (edited) Calibrate in Thrustmaster Control Panel - only use Windows Game Devices when manufacture soft is not available. Then test, if issue persist the probable cause is the (low cost/quality) potentiometer used in T.16000M 'twist rudder' defective. Check warranty, if no more valid can try a disassemble - the pot', and cleanup whit isopropyl alcohol, this can postpone the pot demise. Edited February 27, 2018 by Sokol1
