Setting up different views with a hat switch?

I'm using a joystick with a hat switch and in the 'old' IL2 I'm used to being able to use both the numbers on the keyboard and the hat switch at the same time to let me scan a large part of the sky. With the hat switch giving a different view than the keyboard numbers.

 

So far with BOx I've not been able to set this up as both give exactly the same view. Given the limited nature of the choice of viewing angles available in the menu I can't see how this can be achieved.

 

Am I missing something? I can use the mouse to scan the whole sky but it not something I'm used to.
