It’s coming with patch 3.001 aka the IL-2: Battle of Kuban final release.

When? That’s the million dollar question right now. Some of us are thinking as early as Tuesday. Or it could be a couple more weeks.

Right now there’s a pre order discount. That will disappear when the release happens.

Just buy it now. Whether it’s next week or sometime next month, it’s close.

That's all the motivation I need!

It probably won't be Tuesday, P-39L hasn't had an official showcase yet.

Maybe they push a fast Dev blog for release w/ the update! Fingers crossed!

It has several differences to the La-5FN, plus the colour scheme, plus the fact that it's only his La-7 that exists...

It's not the only one. There's one in Prague Kbely museum too.

Like Elem said, there are a couple differences. It doesn't have the intake on top of the cowling like the FN does, and the oil radiator is below and behind the cockpit, rather than below the engine.

Oh,. ok, thanks, I assumed it was Kozedub's La5 because that's what he flew for most of the war right up until Oct 1944, he only flew the La-7 for the last few months of the war.  Everyone says Johnny Johnson was the allie's top ace with 38 victories, but they forget that Russia was an Ally and Kozedub had 62 victories, 2 of them were 109s over Berlin.

Do not forget Alexander Pokryshkin. He achieved almost the same amount of kills with the P-39. Many other Kobra pilots were highly suscesfull too.
