Understanding how to trim an aircraft properly is a little known skill which dramatically eases the flying of the machine and may reduce death at high speeds.

ATP: Attitude, Power, Trim, is a common pilot acronym sequence which is required in EVERY phase of flight from take off to gunnery to landing.
