Condor Soaring version 2 !!!

All I can say is that I think I'll finally be able to get my hands on a superb soaring flight simulator, with the exact requisites I ever wished for:

.) Being an updated, graphically and weather model wise, version of the initial Condorsoaring;

.) Being also updated - fine tuned - in terms of flight dynamics, and including in it's default release a collection of excellent representatives of various classes of gliders, with a particular "love" for that Blanik, one of the very 1st "modern" gliders I flew, after the Ronlerche II and the Bergfalke III

.) Having additional models - great choices IMHO - coming in the next months, and probably repeating every 6 months or every year ( ? );

.) While being beautiful graphically, from what I was able to check in some shots posted here and videos watched at YouTube, Condorsoaring being a "study-level" simulator ( like some simmers like to put it... ) is focused on what is really important for a PC-based program oriented towards soaring in it's learning, ludic or competition facets. The features it brings, and ported / augmented from v1 are just what I could ask for !

.) Condorsoaring development team didn't fall into the temptation of making it an ultra graphics showroom. What I mean with this is that while I can understand that some users wished for a VR-ready platform ( * ). instead, the Condor Team created a sim that runs in even "old" rigs like my i5-2500, and will not make it's users fall into the cycle of expensive hardware updates, building ultra-performant rigs instead of spending thir money in Real Life Flying !!!

So, today, as I press the buy button latter, and download and install Condorsoaring V2, I will feel "at home", better than with any other flight simulator I've been using lately, and really grateful to the Condor Team for their dedication.

BIG THANK YOU for Condorsoaring V2 to the Condor Developement and Beta Testing Teams !!!!

(*) the kind of stuff I would never consider using at my age.... and because I already feel ridiculous using Track IR to play war games like DCS and IL-2 which are simply remarkable flight and overall physics modelling wise and, I have to admit, have been attractting me in the absence of similar offers in the "civil flightsim" class, but otherwise far from being my focus since I really don't feel attracted my military aviation other than from a technical / engineering / aerodynamics / systems pov...

I love Carving up and Down the Mountains with the Baby. And just ride the Hillsides like an Escalator. We have to organize some Baby Competitions. Just up and down the Mountain Ranges.

With all respect, but the graphics are definetly not a strongpoint of this sim compared to others like Aerofly FS2. Not that it has to have the best graphics, but it could use a bit more love to lighting, ground scenery and cockpit textures.

Overall I'm glad they managed to release and hope I will eventually gather the money to afford it. Would be fun to test the Duo Discus and Grunau Baby FM and compare them with my real live expirience.

OK, I'm flying on Eurobattle as Willy Messerschmitt, and yesterday flew a 290km Task in 3:21 hours in a Blanik, averaging 87km/h. 28 of 42 finnished First Race, and most of them in Open Class Planes.
