Flightsticks and Pedals Not Recognized At All

Across all of the 1C / 777 Studios games (1946, CloD, RoF, BoS) my sidewinder precision II, thrustmaster t.16000m nor CH Pro Pedals are recognized at all. I've tried resetting the controls, re-installing the games, re-installing drivers, and using CH and T.A.R.G.E.T. software. The only thing that has worked has been setting up a virtual controller through steam, but I can only create it as a virtual thumbstick and there is a terrible deadzone through that. The strange thing is that all of these games had worked in the past just fine, and the devices work fine in other games, such as War Thunder and X-Plane 11. First time I noticed this was about 3 months ago, when booting up Il-2 1946 and could not bind any controls. Decided get back into BoS and the exact same issue is happening. Same with the other two games.

Try this:

 

Open STEAM interface > View > Settings > Controller > GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS > Un-tick all box there.

 

BTW - Open Game Controllers - in Start/Cortana box type joy.cpl hit enter, and select and test you controllers functionality.

Thanks for the help -- Steam controllers functionality was the problem. The games are now working as they should. Kind of strange that would do such a thing...
