blitze Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Hello guys. Just letting you know of inconsistency of operation of these controls when mapped each to a serperate rotary on my X52 Pro Throttle. Sometimes the control will allow for full rotary use from 0 to 100%, other times on the same plane, series 87, the controls will only work on the rotary from 0 to 50% movement of the control giving a shorter movement to get from the planes 0 to 100% respective engine control. This makes it inconsistent for flying and also harder when it does only allow half rotary movement usage for full control, to have fine tuning of air craft engine controls. Maybe mapping in general count be looked into one day and simplified / more consistent across the board. For instance I have also 2 rotary dials on the base of my throttle which are ideal for radiators or trim as they operate in steps but some aircraft seem not to respond at all to them mapped to such controls and others they work great. Anyway, the Pe-2 s87 RPM and mixture control consistency when mapped to rotaries would be great. Oh and a Med VVS bomber pls to give us a Ju88 equal ))
56RAF_Roblex Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 I have an X52 and mixture & rpm are mapped to the two rotaries on the throttle. I have never seen the problem you have.
THERION Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Hi, I've got the same problem with my Saitek Rhino X55. But it's not plane related, it doesn't happen only with the Peshka. It also can happen to any other plane with RPM and mixture controls. I suspect that sometimes the controls are not or not correctly synchronised when starting a mission or flight. My workaround when I check my controls before I start rolling and I realise the error, I just simply unselect all engines and reselect all engines. This way the controls seem to synchronise again - problem solved. Btw. this also happens to my Saitek Throttle Quadrant which I use for all the different radiators - so not only rotaries. Cheerio
