Mysticpuma Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 So I've just switched over to BoS and took the Spitfire Vb for a spin. I set the weather to overcast and took to the skies. My Nvidia Control Panel is maxed to visual quality, my in-game Graphics are set to Ultra. So as I descended towards the overcast I noticed lots of weird lines in the sky almost like interlacing on old video footage. Here are a couple of screenshots. Is this the same for everyone? If not, is there a setting to get rid of them as they look horrible compared to the rest of the graphics I have seen? Cheers, MP
Mysticpuma Posted February 20, 2018 Author Posted February 20, 2018 Not sure if you want to test it but my screenshots were from Quick Mission, Moscow/Autumn Map, choose the mission furthest one on the left (Single Aircraft in the white circle) aircraft start at 1000m, weather set to Overcast Heavy, cloud height 500m, ToD 17.30. Images show what I see when the aircraft nears the cloud height.
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 I've never seen that before. Very odd. I see it all the time. I'm running a GTX1080 with the latest driver, all NVCP settings at default except I adjust power to high performance, G-Sync on and single monitor mode. 1
=FEW=Hauggy Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 (edited) I've never seen that but it could be because i'm using sparse grid supersampling activated via Nvidia inspector, it allowed me to get rid of ground shimmering. I hope it helps! Try 2x or 4x first and see if it's not laggy. Edited February 20, 2018 by =FEW=Hauggy
Mysticpuma Posted February 21, 2018 Author Posted February 21, 2018 (edited) Won't have a chance to the test until Sunday. Do you have a link to the latest Nvidia inspector please? Edited February 21, 2018 by Mysticpuma
=FEW=Hauggy Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 (edited) I don't think the version matters and I don't want to give you any link because i'm not sure which one to give you, you'll have to Google it. Edited February 22, 2018 by =FEW=Hauggy
dburne Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 I see that pretty regularly as well, depending on the weather/clouds. I am hoping that , along with some of the stuttering of the clouds as they move gets addressed in some future update.
Kling Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 That was the case in ROF as well. I guess it is just a limitation in whatever software they use for cloudrendering.

56RAF_Roblex Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 I see it often but only at dawn and it usually goes away as the sun rises. I have never seen it above the clouds.
