HagarTheHorrible Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Superb new adaption, definetly recommend going and seeing it if you get half a chance. I'm quite a picky git, when it comes to war movies and usually come away disappointed, but this, Journeys end, was just right, very well acted and had a touching ring of authenticity to the visual detail and performances. If I had one quibble (minor) it would have been a liking for a little more background, there's a war going on, noise. Nothing major, but just a reminder that they aren't there all on their own. Even if WW1 isn't your cup of tea still go and see it. I doubt very much that you would regret it if you are in any way into military history or the two World Wars.
Trooper117 Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Read the book many years ago... it was one of the classic WWI reads!
