2 Little request for 3.0

It is possible to make the speech sounds a little more louder?

I dont want to use subtitles, but in missions i cant hear or figure what the germans speak, when the engine is on 100%, and im a german speaker.

Lets say..like in CLOD?

Ok i can made my speakers louder but the engine sound will harm my ears then?

The second one is just make the frontlines or cities where the ground battles ongoing, more noticeable?

Stalingrad for example, looks empty and dead, how about more MG- firing at each other and also at the front lines?

Well, 3.0 is on beta testing right now, so nothing new will be added to the next patch on such a short notice.

A rework of the AI radio communications would be very welcomed indeed.

Regarding the front-line battles, it's up to the mission makers to bring life to the maps. I've recently played through the Taman Bridgehead campaign by Samson, and it's amazing how lively the cities look if you place some fires and some vehicles exchanging rounds in them. You should give it a try! Multiplayer maps are usually a bit more dull for performance reasons I suppose.

PWCG 3 also does a good job of bringing front line battles to the sim with it's Campaigns it generates.

Pat has added some nice touches to it of late.

As far as the activity in the game like the stock campains I would wait and see what the next update brings with the new Career.

Even in the stock campaigns I see a lot of ground activity along the front lines, exactly where they are marked out on the map. On any normal strike mission in the IL-2, I most often have to dodge archie fire several times on my way in and out, especially when crossing the front lines. Not paying attention and failing to spot those tracers as they climb towards you can be deadly.

As for the sounds: The radio chatter needs improvement, has done from the very beginning, but I don’t know if we want to take lessons from ClOD with its exaggerated soundscape.

What I definitely don’t want is a system where you can turn individual parts of the sound up or down independently, such as for instance turn the engine sound down and the radio up. That is just opening this sim up to massive exploitation.
