LittleBill Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Hello, I am a newby, I play single player now but hope to get into multiplayer when my skills improve and numerous game problems get sorted out. I have a question about one problem I have encountered. I am having trouble believing that the loadout changes I make and save are being used by CLOD Blitz. For example the fuel level never changes in the plane at startup and the color of the tracers never changes as well. I can even remove all tracers and still get the original white tracer out of all eight guns. I am not into colors, but I am using the tracer color to tell me if my loadout changes are taking place. When I check the user file the correct (to me) data seems to be there. The Weapon Loadout choices are correct (I think) when I choice a plane, in this case EMPTY, DEFULT and COMBAT. I choose COMBAT but still get white trackers, this loadout should show a lot of red & burgundy. By the way it occurred to me that maybe my monitor/pc was not showing the tracer flashes in color as I do not get the orange engine exhaust flash that I see in some YOU TUBE videos, so I flew the Hurry Night Fighter, it's tracer flashes show up red and yellow as they should. This is my loadout for the Spit Mk1a 100oct, how do you know if your changes took place? Thanks. 71st_AH_Mastiff Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 sometimes this occurs and you would need to make the changes in the mission map editor, try that.
LittleBill Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 Thanks for an answer. I did not know I had a mission map editor, I will attempt to find information on it's activation and use. Thanks again.
Sokol1 Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Main menu > Extras > Full Mission Builder. FMB is easy to use, load a small map, eg. Scimitar, then click in View Object, select your plane. Ctrl+Click over map for place the plane on map, then click again more ahead for create a 2nd waypoint (for test purpose). Now, right click over the plane icon > Properties > and set the belts. Save this mission with any name and in the FMB click in Fly Mission, test the weapons, if need close the mission, change belts again, rinse and repeat.
