7./KG51_Baumbach Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 The Spitfire's elevator trim in game is operated by the pitch trimmer, which is a key/button operation, where as the Bf109's elevator trim is operated by the Stabilizer trim,an axis/wheel operation. This said,is there a future plan to animate the Spitfire's trim wheel on the inside port side of the cockpit, and have the same operation as the Bf109,so we can have an axis operated elevator trim, like the real aircraft ? I use a Saitek Cessna trim wheel for my WW2 sim aircraft,so whilst the Bf109 is operated correctly and realistically, the Spitfire's key/button operation is just not very realistic. It would be very nice having the same operation as that of the Bf109,along with the correct animation of the cockpit trim wheel.
unreasonable Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 The trim wheels in the cockpit are animated - both elevator and rudder. At least in my Spitfire - I just checked! The whole button vs axis issue in this game is a bit odd I agree.
Trooper117 Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 I'm pretty sure Jason said they will look at the button and axis thing when they get time
