However although I got a Paypal receipt Kuban is not showing up in my purchases and I havent received an activation key (within profile page of the store page not the forum). I was under the impression that I would be able to play the game only in beta. Have I accidentally per-ordered a game I wont be able to play yet or something, or does it take a long time to receive ones activation key? Anyway should be more patient but wanted to be trying it out tonight as I don't get a lot of opportunities to play VR when my little toddler is awake (he likes to push my flight stick downwards and make me crash)!Many thanks!

Usually when I make a purchase it takes a couple of minutes and then it appears. It doesn't show you with the gold BoK under your account name on the forum either so maybe something is delayed? Right now Battle of Kuban is in early access. The way this works is the team releases content as its finished and then we get access to it. The last patch was actually quite a while ago which is unusual for the team but we have some major (and unusually deep rooted) updates coming so that's the reason. Nonetheless, when you do get access you get quite a lot. The Bf109G-4, FW190A-5, Bf110G-2, He111H16, Hs129B-2, IL-2 Model 1943, and Spitfire Vb. Oh... and the Kuban map which is incredible. We're waiting on three more planes for BoK (P-39L, A-20B, Yak-7B) as well as the new Career mode, new Co-op mode, and about a dozen other features.

Is the new career mode going to be similar to career mode in BOS and BOM? Something must have happened. I'm sure Support will fix you up! The new Career mode completely replaces the Campaign system from BoS/BoM so that all three products use the new system. If you've played Rise of Flight it's supposed to be a bit like that. You create a pilot, date/battle, squadron, and then you fly missions. I'm excited because it should be a lot more immersive than the current system.

Surely cant be that as they wouldnt have accepted the payment. Shouldn't have gone through pay pal maybe! Well they haven't got back to me anyway real disappointment after getting all hyped! Will that campaign system only work on the Kuban maps or will it then be applicable as well to Stalingrad and Moscow?

I know it sucks waiting but the 1CGS support team is usually quite good - I say team but I think it's maybe just the one guy (it's a really really small studio) and he may not be working on the weekend. Yeah the Career system is replacing the Campaign system across all three titles. So its a massive upgrade across the board for everyone.

B) Or something. They are in the final weeks before releasing a huge patch for BOK, the official release. I'm sure they are firing on all cylinders. Someone will get back to you. Also have the paypal receipts don't think I would have been able to pay had there been a problem, and even had there been after 24 hours I think they should have communicated this to me.

Why didnt paypal tell me there was a hitch? Any hoo panic over thanks for the help! Probably too late to actually play now but at least I can sleep knowing it's there! I was under the impression it was all there anyway but required only activation however when I load the game there is no Kuban campaign.

Glad you got it sorted. If you bought the game via the website you will have a stand alone version. U need to log in on the main site and download a launcher. When Bok is released you can transfer it to Steam. If you bought it on steam I don't think you can play until it is fully released. I hope for your sake I'm wrong about that considering what you have been through

I downloaded the standalone client but can still only see the Moscow and Stalingrad campaigns. Do I need to download a specific Kuban client or something! However you should be able to create a fast mission on it's map and flight the released planes so far!

Just launch BOS from steam and you have access to all BOK content (That has been released anyway). It does not matter that you bought BOK from the website if you already have steam version of BOS.

Yeah should have realized that from Moscow. But I think I was expecting it to be more obvious the BOK was there. BOK looks very impressive though!
