Any way to hide yellow text, but not radio subtitles?

Is there any way to hide the yellow text at the top of the screen ("Checkpoint Reached", "Action Point Reached" etc) but not the radio subtitles?

The yellow text ruins the fun of navigation (since you know exactly when you've reached the important areas), but without the radio subtitles I can't understand what my flight mates are saying - so they just say something I can't understand and fly off.
