I have read that Russian units emblems were at the discretion of the commander and not standardized. Based on profiles that I have seen, squadron markings seem to be very simple, such as a painted spinner, rudder, or fuselage band. Or nothing at all. Looking for confirmation. Does anybody have any Russian unit markings that are relevant to our battles? If I can find actual markings, great. If not, for PWCG I am going to do what Russian commanders did - make up my own. Very simple and taken from actual profiles where possible.
