Hey guys,

 

I saw the links for triple screen support via nvidia control panel, etc., but will IL2 BoS have native support for three monitors?

Note that you probably need to remove post effects via the startup.cfg file (stuff that starts with post) or you will be forced to a low resolution render.

Triple screen is working, but does look like it's a lower resolution than 5760x1080, unfortunately.

 

I haven't tried disabling post processing effects yet, they're just too damn pretty.

I'm running 3 screens here. Compared to other sims yes it looks a little low res. Removing the SSAO helped a bit.

 

I also posted in the suggestions thread that I'd like to see the map and speedbar, as well as the menus display their info on the center screen. Right now the map shows up on my right monitor and speedbar on my left and I have to turn my head to read it which makes my trackIR turn as well.

Yes it works for me too! but it's not perfect yet, there are rooms to improve the multiscreen support (after all it's an alpha ^^ that's its reason to be)

1-> it looks like low res for me too (i'll try with removing post effect thanks for the advice)

2-> The game ui should be centered on the central screen (for now it's a bit painfull to navigate in the menu)

3-> The pre flight map doesn't allow us to de-zoom far enough

4-> The zoom level in the hangar is too close , we can't see the whole plane (in game menu)

5-> Obi-wan Kenobi

however it already has a fairly good triple screen support already

If you want to have full resolution then you have to disable post effects. there is no way around that. I discussed the matter in depth in the ROF forums. Official statement on the matter was something like they cant do anything about it but if i remember it right they said maybe in a later iteration of the client it could be fixed. Please correct me if i am wrong devs.

hi, looking forward to this... I have a sli  2x680gtx 4gb  surround setup and am looking for some update to this too....devs any ideas ?

Well now we can't customize the graphics setting, bos is getting not really... beautifull so i hope they'll fix the triple screen support.

3 screens as well. We need these features addressed before launch. I'm sure it's not a high priority but this would help so much. The sim is so immersive on 3 screens I can't go back to one!

I take it that the post effects that you are referring to are located in teh startup.cfg.... which line... multisampling ????

anyone ?  asI've been  adding and removing the SSAO  lines with no effect .. that i can see or for that matter that show up in screen shots.... is there another file other than startup.cfg ???

At present the graphics settings are locked.

 

All we can do is change the presets in-game.

What level of preset, if any, kills all post effects ?

In fact the only thing we can do is to report this problem so we can use those effect as everyone.

where do we report the problem? though the oculus rift will prob make this a moot point once it is released
