Weird bug

I've experienced a really strange bug while flying a Spitfire at Wings of Liberty recently. I don't know if I did something wrong or if it is a rare bug... I just know that i've never seen anything like it. The main menu was on top of the game (?)


I clicked again on the server to check if the game would normalize but it then got stuck loading forever. All the while I could still maneuver with the Spitfire but couldn't control anything else than the control surfaces. No Throttle, no Boost, no guns.

not in over 1000 hours have i experienced that bug. i do have to say that that is a fresh new look for the main menu. the non interactive hangar is getting a little old for me XD

I'm guessing that was just something that will never appear again and might gave been caused by local issues on your computer. I've never seen it.

These "one in a million" issues are not worth worrying about.

I've once face the issue that I couldn't get back to my plane after spawning online.

This was the sequence:

I've bombed an enemy airfield, flak got me so I bailed out.

Then I've watched a friendly player on externals attacking the same airfield.

Finally I decided to refly. While I was in the aircraft selection menu, I could still hear my teammate's external sounds in the background.

Upon spawn, I didn't see me in the cockpit, instead I still saw my teammate on externals.

Hitting "F1" didn't get me into the pilot's seat, instead I saw my "old" pilot still hanging in his chute.

Cycling through externals (Shift+F2) I could see my "new" plane parked on the ground, with the waiting pilot inside.

I just couldn't get to control it for my life.

 

Respawned once more, everything was fine.

 

Could I reprocude it? No.

Should I be worried? No.
