Walk in the park P-40 mash up (IL2 BOX)

The P-40 hasn't been shown a lot of love like some other planes have on YouTube. So I figured I'd make a mash up of one of my older recordings I dug up in my profile. Showing some love to this great bird. I was clearly less experienced at this time! Jerking the 40 into stalls - and some poor marksmanship at times. But the plane was still a charm once those 6 50s converge; Complete destruction.

I've only recently gotten this bird. It certainly does present a clear challenge to fight in, despite it's demure qualities. 

 

I'm still trawling the forums for guides on the type. This plane really forces you to be knowledgeable about BFM/AFM. I love it!

Maybe this video can help you on with it, Marder. Requiem did several really well-made introductions also on other planes.

Never tried the P-40 yet, but maybe I should. I always found it looks good!

 

The vid looked like a cakewalk, TexasWarbird. I wonder, if the weapons impact of six Brownings was really so much stronger

than that of a 2 cm cannon plus two MGs (like on the Bf 109 G-2) - or I must be a terrible shot.

I never bring any aircraft down as quick as this...

But then I'm still learning the whole busines of flying and fighting. Only some days ago won the fight over my joystick settings...

The sensational p-40 is a pity to be a plane difficult to pilot and very inferior to the axle planes. I have suffered with him online. Very beautiful airplane
