1./KG4_OldJames Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Not sure if this is the right place, but can anyone tech-head here tell me how an hdmi cable can fail when it is not physically moved in any way? If I were plugging and unplugging it i could understand why it failed, but, as I say, it hasn't been moved a millimetre. Seems odd to me.
Jade_Monkey Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 I had a similar issue with a Displayport cable. It just "went bad". I had the same thought as you did and believed it was my monitor. Imagine my relief when i found out I only had to buy a new cable instead a new monitor.
