Love this joystick and works perfect.

Never have dont the firmware update.

Is it worth it? what does it do?

Dont want to ruin things that are working fine.

Exactly my thought.

The first problem is find the proper firmware, look there:

http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Firmware/

For Gladiator the more recently is 12-Jan-2018:

http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Firmware/Gladiator/

But for what Gladiator this firmware is?

Mk.II "Vanilla" or PRO?

One have twist rudder, other no... both use the same firmware? I know that Gladiator PRO KG-12A grip dont work in Gunfighter base due firmware differences, despite the "standard" grip in Gunfighter be the same KG-12A...

Anyway, you need the DevCFG or WIZZO ( :P ) for put joystick in bootloader mode * - when he is no longer recognized by Windows/Games and after use ZBootloader.C for load the new firmware.

http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/

* If give up and don't load new firmware, unplug and plug the stick in USB for "reset" back for joystick mode.

New programming features was added to DevCFG in this last weeks for MCG grips, don't know if is applicable for Gladiator PRO.

If not for install MCG grip - Gladiator PRO compatible version was not released yet, remember that "if is not broken dont fix it".

Latest version of "NJoy32 Family Controllers Configuration Utility User guide" - page 13 describe firmware update.
