Game crashes

Hello, I'm new here. I just recently downloaded Battle of Stalingrad but I have been having a problem launching the game.

 

My computer is an AMD A4-7300 APU. I have 8GB Ram and my operating system is a Windows 10 64-bit. My graphics card is a Radeon RX-550 Series with 4GB Ram.

 

I have a login and I get to the menu where I can select Multiplayer, Campaign etc, but after around 10 seconds of it running, the game crashes.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this problem and can anybody help?

any error messages ? is the computer still stable allowing you to end the task ? is it installed in steam or stand alone client ? have you tried the latest graphics drivers, or re-installing the game ?

 

Edit: found this :- 6) The game doesn't start, the application shuts down and a warning error message appears. What can be done here?

You need to launch the game as Administrator. Click with the RMB on IL-2.exe (...\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game\Il-2.exe), enter the menu and choose to run it as Admin.

I downloaded Stalingrad from Steam and in the System Requirements it says 4GB Memory Ram.

    Isn't the   AMD A4-7300 APU CPU a duel core ? The above specs quoted from steam clearly state that the minimum requirements require an i5/i7 which are Quad core. So based on that I think that SJ_Butcher's statement is correct.

     1, Go into the Game's Steam folder and create a shortcut of the EXE file and place it on your desk top.

 

     2,  Right click on the game's newly created exe shortcut on your desk top and you will see "Run As Administrator" in one of the options.

hello i have a problems i got the game on steam my pc is i7-7700k 16gb ram ssd drive and a 1080ti but my game crash at selecting an airfield and click on start hope anyone can help i try re-installing the game windows roll back format my pc and nothing work

My mistake. I did not read the Requirements properly. I have put in a refund to Steam. Thank you.

Hi British_guy

Before returning you should contact or post in the technical support section. I've been running amd CPU's with il2 forever. I'm not a computer wiz, but I do remember that the game should be installed in different directory other than Windows program files default directory, otherwise the game will be prevented by Windows to write/ update files as you play, its a Windows protection thing. Please be sure to verify. I don't have the steam but downloaded it directly from the developer. Good luck, someone should be able to help you.
