career questions

Hi,

i would like to ask you, whether it will be possible to start a career in moskau campaign and end up at kuban or stalingrad. Some squadrons fought very little time on kuban but saw more action at moskau or stalingrad. Will squadrons or be limited by time at kuban as they did in real?

I don't know what will come, but there is no reason not to allow a career to span all maps.  You have to implement a transfer mechanism that allows the player to move between squadrons.  With that in place a player can move from map tomap by changing to an appropriate squadron.

Can’t find the quote, but I’m 90% sure, That the devs have said, that you can walk a pilot through all the careers, provided you do them chronologically - starting with Moscow.

I do remember that as well.

The logical thing is to start in Moscow (first map on date), with the sergeant graduation, for example and not being the leader. Then you will be doing chronological missions in time and you will go on ascending and you will change your airbase and squadron as well. Then you will spend days and days with missions until you are transferred to Stalingrad, and on this front you will continue to do missions and more missions. Many of your companions will die, since the AI, if they have not repaired it, is very foolish and does not obey your orders. And so on until the month and the year arrive and you are transferred to the front of Kuban.

Later, if you do not make another intermediate map before Bomderplate, you will be transferred to the front of the West, either as German (Luftwaffe) or changing to the allies (RAF / USAF) at the end of the war in the continent.

The question I ask myself is if by being similar to the RoF campaign every time you die, your pilot will be buried and you will have to start over with another pilot from the start.

And another question I ask myself is whether they will let you always be missions as a fighter pilot, or they will pass you without the option of choosing from fighter pilot to bomber or ground attack aircraft. If this is the case, I will be disinterested, since I prefer to be a fighter pilot for the whole war and the bombers, personally, do not interest me. As well as those who like bombers, they still want to be the entire campaign pilots flying only bombers.

Anyway, although you know some things and details of how it will be, until it comes out we will not know everything. But surely there will be surprises ... I hope they are for the better.

A Career progressing though the maps via transfers would be very nice indeed.
