Any simple training missions for taking off and landing?

Hi,

 

Are there any missions that purely consist of taking off and landing?

I'm not too bothered about what aircraft is used as I'm guessing I can change it in the editor, and go through all the available planes I want to learn on. (Thats about all my editor abilities amount too at the moment)!

I've done a search for missions here but not seen anything suitable.

 

Anyone know of any, or can make a mission quickly?

Just pick "Quick Mission" from the menu and pick an Icon with a single plane in it. Choose a plane and loadout with "runway" or "parked" as start point from the options. Deselect all ground targets otherwise you will be attacked by AI ground units.

I actually made my own landing mission in the mission editor. Just placed my plane in the air at about 1km altitude and about 2k out from the runway, saved it, and then it's available in game. Give the mission editor a shot, once you get the basics it's pretty easy to make simple training missions like this. It definitely made landing practice more efficient - many more attempts in a given time period.
