Although we are waiting for WOL admin to resolve, I was wondering whether you chaps might want to look into this. Here is a cut and paste from the WOL forum where these guys have been extremely rude and just continually block chat over and over again with nonsense!. I'm all for having a laugh, but these 3 are just rude! MIKE_BETERMAN - Remarks against Jewish People and call for extermination ROSAPARKSMYCAR - Remarks against Black People, calls for viloence and Team Killing. Told me my Wife better be having a White baby. This was after I announced on the server that she was pregnant. If there are 80 people in a server, and it takes 60 to ban some moron, that's not going to work. It should be lowered to like 10 players or 2/3rds whichever number is lower. That way, in the future, there would be no need to bother the developers to police something like this, or have to rely on the whims of particular multiplayer server operators to do the right thing.

Iceworm, I totally agree and do not expect the developers to police this, however, in this case owing to the nature of the insults etc, I thought it prudent to raise it a little further and to make them aware! When I consider how absolutely toxic the environment is in most Internet multi-player games I am really proud to be associated with a community that it is as mature ( and not just in calendar years) as this community. I hope this situation is dealt with quickly and firmly so that new players just coming online don't get a distorted view of how things really are. If marketing experiments such as a 2 plane starter pack are to ever happen then technical tools such as player-based chat blocking need to be rolled out ASAP. The problem with letting payers vote ban someone is a group of people can ban someone out of malice. I've seen this attempted numerous times on WOL. It is really is best to let the admin handle it. It is not the role of 1C/777 to police speech on servers, even if they have that right.

BSR, I totally agree with blocking the chat, however, today, once again all 3 were deliberately colliding with players on the ground or team killing in the air, in addition to their abusive comments. This type of team killing behaviour can't be addressed by just blocking chat. Unfortunately the majority of players just left the server! RGDS

I might be that age group, but thankfully I completed primary school and learnt about all those big words and how to use them. I think that perhaps you meant "their" instead of "there"? I often wonder when there is a give away where everybody comes from asking for something, especially when you consider that for some the day they joined the forum, is the same day of their first post asking for something for free!
