Disconnecting, all of a sudden

Hey guys! 

I have a problem with the multiplayer. I tried it only a few times so far, but it always ended the same way: after a takeoff and a bit of flying, i was disconnected and found myself on the main multiplayer menu.

No previous warning, no problems before the disconnection, no error message of any kind, and the server list is up and working, i could immediately join again (and have the same thing all over again).

 

Have anybody experienced this? Is there a solution? 

BTW i have absolutely no problems with SP missions. (Also i was flying FW190 in MP but i don't think it has anything to do with the problem.)

Edit: It happened on WoL and also on Checksix training server (or something like that)

Sometimes it could be a server problem if you are getting kicked joining or in menu or it could be unreliable internet perhaps...

 

You just have to persist when it comes to being kicked joining a server like WOL at the start of a map until changes are made, issues solved and problems fixed.

 

Unless your problem is something else entirely... ...and then I am sorry I have no idea

Well, thanks and i will probably try it a few more times. 

 

'Unreliable internet' would be my guess, but the server list is working from the first second after the disconnect. When i had issues with my connection in RO2 for example, i wasn't able to see/join servers for quite some time. But i might be comparing apples to oranges here.

Also these happen in the middle of a mission, seemingly not affecting other players.

 

It's quite hard to figure anything out without any error messages.

I have unreliable Australian internet and it has happened to me on the odd occasion. I put it down to being kicked for bad ping or losing  connection entirely so it could be just that...

 

If you were playing at the same time as someone is streaming you could see their video (if they keep the video) of the chat that may say you were kicked or exited...maybe...or if you ask when you rejoin someone may have

 

noticed and bother to answer you (not always guaranteed). Good luck.

Hi there! I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be a physical connection issue. I was dropping out after a random amount of time, from five to 20 minutes (just enough time to start my way towards the front). Turns out one of the coax adapters leading to the modem wasn't tightened down completely and had worked slightly looser. Fixed that and no issues since.

 

I have previously had DHCP issues that have resulted in the same thing, but those were on a different router. It might be worth checking the logs in your router for any error messages.

Having the best possible router and cables is  the best way of fixing these issues if your able  along with a good internet speeds ! Most of my state in Australia has rolled over to Fiber Optics 100/40 and although this fixed connections to and from the multiplayer servers Bos website is still  slow loading for some reason compared to all others in the northern hemisphere  !

Thanks, i will look into that. Also today i had more luck, and could fly until i was shot down  . So it seems to happen in a rather random way.

Most of it was me discussing the definition or interpretation of patriotism.....defining a word where the supplied dictionary meaning is narrow and I would argue..'quite wrong'.

Wings of Liberty has been kicking everyone out lately, seems like an issue on their side, as its been happening with everyone in locations all over the globe. I'm lucky if I can get a 45 min flight in before I'm kicked and kill streak is reset.

Ok, yesterday it was 3 disconnects in a row (WoL), the first was a server crash, but on 2nd and 3rd occasion i think it was only me. Don't really have any means to improve my connection right now, but i guess it's time to think about a solution...

Are you running on Wifi or Ethernet cable? Wifi is a known source of trouble and definitely no fun.

Wifi, unfortunately. And i can attest to your statement about it (although it wasn't that bad on some other mp games i've tried...)

Mine is wired, so it is not directly related to WiFi only.
