ronfair Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Hi new here. Have managed to connect new Thrustmaster Hotas One and it flies the single player fine. I just have no guns? I have assigned trigger to fire current weapon in options, have checked loadout as default on single mission aircraft but I get no firing,. What am I doing wrong? Also which assignment do I need to programme so that the top hat allows me to look around 360 and returns to front when I release it?. I'm sure I could do this on the disc version of IL2. Many thanks
Sokol1 Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) "Fire current weapon" - default key assigned "Mouse Left" is a wrong name for "Fire gunner weapon". An It's CloD! In Options > Controls > Aircraft > assign joy trigger for "Fire Guns (Machine Guns) or if you are "trigger'happy" for "Fire Guns (Machine Guns + Cannons). Also which assignment do I need to programme so that the top hat allows me to look around 360 and returns to front when I release it? No option for set this in games controls - there only SNAP and PAN VIEW option both with fixed angles - but possible emulate "Mouse View" with POV HAT using 3rd part programs. ronfair Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 Cool guns a blazin now thanks. Can I display airspeed/height etc on screen instead of viewing instruments in cockpit?
OrLoK Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Yes you can, its the Hud keys to toggle the info. Default key = H Although its availability depends on difficulty settings. Either on server or your PC
ronfair Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 I'm getting no response from H on any difficulty setting. Cannot find that control on options control assignment either?? Any ideas? Also can the map be zoomed in on to aid recovery to base?
Sokol1 Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 'H' is "HUD" command for BoS, if you are flying in CloD, there are no "HUD" for speed, altitude, heading, look at instruments on panel.
