TWCMarc442 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Wonder if there is any thought on building this?
Gambit21 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Doubt it - enough on the plate already. There will be a surprise or two I'm sure, but not a P-63
Finkeren Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Thing is: It would actually make some sense to model it at some point, because it has multiple applications. It could serve in a late-war scenario on the Eastern Front. Officially the VVS never employed the P-63 in combat, but there is good evidence that it was actually used quite a bit. It could also serve as a Free French plane in the West, late ‘44 - early ‘45, though it will be severely outclassed by most things in the BoBP inventory.

If the devs decide to build upon the Pacific theater, they could also use it in Manchuria.

Field-Ops Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 This is rare enough to be a collector plane, yet present in a few theaters of note. Id imagine its a good addition to a 44/45 Russian planeset but would probably be a better fit in Manchuria like Frenchy56 stated due to the nature of what they were fighting by then.
7.GShAP/Silas Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Hmm, better in East Prussia, Poland or the Battle of Berlin I think. 1
Elem Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 They served the VVS against Japan in 45.... http://soviethammer.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/bell-p-63-kingcobra-in-soviet-union.html
