Huh, they have not disappeared for me with ctrl-i, I will have to check on that when I have the chance though.

Yep, they seem not disappear anymore with ctrl+i, however i'm sure they did in last build?

I got rid of them with "Show/hide Hud", But this also wiped out the Map.

Hopefully only a program place holder.

If you get rid of the HUD, can't you then push M to bring up the map alone?

I'd love to know how to turn off the radio message text independently of the other, more useful info.

Nope, hide hud its all gone. Ctrl-i has 3 clicks and will cycle the speed bar small, large and off. I would like to turn off the radio messages too, but keep the map.
