And even uplifting a bit, for a newbie like me, who's achievements are more demolished props (own props!) and wrecked Daimler engines (own engines! - Should buy me Daimler-Benz-shares!), than enemy fighters. The intermediate graphics and jokes (one pair of pants later - do you carry a fresh set of underwear with you on your bombers? Should be possible to change them in flight - if the others look another dirction? Well, even if not...) PS: ...and the music - great choice - timeless hit by good old Wolfgang! 1

But everyone to their likes, I say! By the way: are you HYDRA guys Finns, or do you like flying a Finnish unit? Cause: I am just "finnishing" a skin for a friend in Finnland. Maybe you guys would like Finnish skins, but have no "skinner" ? I have the markings now, so it shouldn't be too problematic to make more personalised Finnish skins for you. There are a few talented skinners in Hydra, notably BlackHellHound1 (who has his own super-thread museum in the Skins section) and Feraphic. Not a Finnish squad, no, but the Finnish VirtualPilots server is a good time. Wolfram - you will want to remove that picture from your post, it's against forum rules to show swastikas!

Those are the Finnish swastikas -they have nothing to do with the German ones. The Finns had them already in the 20s, before the Nazis spoiled that ancient symbol.
Hoss Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 It kills me to watch that AAA shoot through trees when you know they can't see you, but to watch the Pe-2 below a depression in the ground and see the AAA shoot over the trees and down into the depression at the plane is mind boggling. AAA really needs some work............... I usually fly between trees in the 110 and 88 to a target and I can't even remember how many times I've either been shot down or damaged so bad I can't continue even before I have popped up to see the target...... must be run by R2D2 fire control.......................... Tuesday Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Yeah, I didn't even realize there was a position there (behind friendly lines) until I took that hit to my remaining engine. Scared the crap out of me to see the AAA landing all around me as I scraped the grass. Was strange; the first hit I took at the airfield hit my port engine, but knocked out my starboard. The second hit in the tree line knocked out my port engine, but it had hit my starboard.
