Haha wow.... You must have been holding that one in for a while. Don't worry, all countries practice propaganda in one form or another. Not only the US.

No not true, there has been no Russian Meddling in the production of Battle of Moscow/Stalingrad/Kuban.

Non, i tell you, non what so evva!! :P

Actually, on a cereal note, thank god for you lovely 1C team. PC sims would be like watching a black hole without you.

As for propaganda, what's that???

Goto agree with you on that one, moving through the posts I'm scratching my head in abject WTFism.

Guys, take it easy please.

Heck I'm 75 years old and I remember in college having this type of discussion.  The real question is what did it change?, what, if anything will change?, and what will you do to make any changes?

As has been stated this is a "private forum" and therefor the forum rules apply.  If you cannot successfully argue your points on a "political forum" then don"t bring it here. :(   BTW in before the lock.

Anywho, I'm looking forward to the P39 and can't wait for it to be released - plus all of the other awesome features coming in 3.0.

...Just wondering why this iconic aircraft that produced quite a few VVS aces was not modeled in this game?

While you are waiting for the P-39 to be considered:

Here is the new Range of Mercedes for 1979. And for 1981 they have announced new Diesels with the Option of Turbocharging. They are giving a Rust Guarantee of 1 Year.

In other News: Aircraft have taken over Transatlantic Air Travel. Apparently there were some Issues with Airships.

PS: I love how the Small Chap at 8:30 has a Bald Spot. Couldn't do that today.

Huh.

In some parallel flight sim community, there is someone absolutely agog at your ironic wit. I'll bet your upvote to post ratio is mind boggling.

Looking forward to the P39.

Back in the old days of the original IL2 it was the first plane I ever really "clicked" with.  Did a lot of early work in the 109, training with AKA before I was a BlitzPig, but when I tried the '39 it all just came together.

This is this Flight Sim Community. You are a bit like my little Sisters though. They also try to give their Arguments more weight by displaying themselves as the Majority. It's kind of funny seeing grown Men do it though. Objectively Speaking I do get more Upvotes per Post than any of you (except HerrMurf).

Thing is, you are pretty much wrong about everything you believe I believe.

And what are you trying to achieve by just being nasty and calling me Names while I remained perfectly Polite towards you. It just shows insecurity and lack of actual Arguments. Do you even Ethic?

If I was back in school, instead of being old and retired, I'd write my doctoral dissertation on my theory as to why combat flight sim forums inevitably degenerate into unfriendly, IQ-lowering truculence festivals.

That having been noted, I'm very much looking forward to the P-39. Who wouldn't love a single-seater with car doors? Besides, Chuck flew them when he was still a flying sergeant.

Hmmm, I will stay true to my P-40. I could grow a Softspot for the Typhoon though. And the Hurricane as well.

Them car doors is spiffy and I seem to be as good at ground gunnery as them there Army Flyers.  Did they actually hit the target LOL

I just saw strikes everywhere but but that is viewing it on a 15" screen which is also what I am playing on at the moment.  I find wing board guns to be easier for strafing cause I can see the convergence.

Bring on Kuban S! ))

So many had fun here with his "Parody Question"

And no once for all we don't get the P-39 we get the P-400 instead......................................

What is upvote to post ratio? Do I get paid for subscribers like YouTube? I should start being a lot more clever and controversial...

It's one of my favourite Burns by the Dowager Countess in Downton Abbey.

Dowager Countess: Hope is a tease. Designed to prevent us accepting reality.

Cousin Isobel: Oh, you only say that to sound clever.

Dowager Countess: I know, you should try it.

The original statement is actually quite nice.

Anyone know what year the P39 was made available to the soviets? Should we be expecting it on 1942/41 maps?

Posted

Checking my copy of Osprey's Soviet Lend-Lease Fighter Aces of WW2, it seems that the P-39Ls started finding their way into Azerbaijan in September 1942, but considering squadron organization and transport I don't think you would see frontline service of those until 1943. The Brits sent over Airacobra Is earlier in January 1942, and they didn't see frontline combat until May of that year.

Car doors on a combat aircraft seem "wrong" to me.

But im looking forward to testing her out.

The more varied aircraft the happier i am.
