Babayega Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Not sure if this was the right forum to share but I thought I would share my Trackir profile with you all. I limited all axis's to 180 and I put deadzones on several to help the constant jumping camera views when you reach max limits on the different axis's. Please adjust your hotkeys how you like them. I hope everyone likes!! BOS.xml
SJ_Butcher Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 going to test it and compare with mine, thanks
Babayega Posted January 18, 2018 Author Posted January 18, 2018 cool, let me know if you like it. It actually works great in other games as well. For my setup its spot on.
SJ_Butcher Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 cool, let me know if you like it. It actually works great in other games as well. For my setup its spot on. I didnt like it man, too sensitive, I have one, I can share you mine and see if you like too.
Babayega Posted January 18, 2018 Author Posted January 18, 2018 sure I would love to test it out. I keep my sensitivity level at 1. I thought about bringing the response rate down to .8 or .7. Because I do a lot of snap head moves in combat I like the quick response.

Its a little slow for my snap movements but its really smooth.
SJ_Butcher Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Increase the speed, it's accurate and I found it fast if you turn fast, speed should be increased in that case, to 1.6 and smooth at 30

Babayega Posted January 22, 2018 Author Posted January 22, 2018 I liked it, it's very good to fight on the dogfight Thanks! I too find it snappy on a dogfight. Its nice for quick snap views.
SJ_Butcher Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 The profile of butcher is best. thank you I spent a lot of time tweacking it, and I found a formula how to do it, the updated profile I posted yesterday is better than the old version number 2
ST_Pirato Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I'd like to try your Profiles, but I don't have a NaturalPoint folder in the Appdata\Roaming destination. I've tried to put the profiles in the Profiles folder where TrackIR is installed, but they don't appear in the dropdown list. My other profiles are in the same folder and they work. I remember that I had the same problem in the past, but unfortunally I can't remember how I solved it.
ST_Pirato Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I checked to show hidden folders already. But noticed that I had the old 5.1 version of the software installed. I updated it to the newest 5.4,the NaturalPoint folder is in the Roaming folder now. At first try Butchers profile still didn't work, but I will try a few things when I find the time. Haven't tried others yet, hoping that the new versions still works with my old profiles atleast though.

I will try to upload the file and you just paste it in the folder
ST_Pirato Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Yes, I did it already in the past. I will look into it again in the coming days. I will post the solution here, maybe i only missed something.

ST_Pirato Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Thank you very much, will give it a try later.
ST_Pirato Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 Today I had the time to try Butchers Profile, this time it showed up fine in the list..Not a bad profile at all, just not my cup of tea. Propably I need more time getting used to it though. I included my Profile,I use it with 1.5 Speed and 30 Smooth. It doesn't have much of a Deadzone anywhereand is very responsive. Most will think it moves too fast most likely. IL2-Pirato.xml
