Just  recently I had a minor operation involving my left eye & had to wear an eye patch over it for a day or so.During that time I briefly tried out a few missions on BoX using Oculus VR with eye patch on, fully expecting it not to work properly. I was surprised to see that even using only my right eye it worked just fine with the obvious exception of turning my head left and having severe problems with peripheral  vision in that direction. What DID surprise me was the increased clarity while only using one eye...I'd say 10-15% better in looking at the instrument panel or middle ground aircraft & objects! Does anyone have a reason for this? I suspect it could be that before I didn't have the lens/eye distance correct & that was causing some blurring or ghosting, especially while looking through the spinning prop ( let me say that I like others have had the disturbing vision of other aircraft in my formation appearing to have "flapping wings " ,and/or the cross hairs or the gun sight having oscilloscopic like effects...) Any opinions? Something I can effect through the VR Goggles or any more likely something to fix through a mistake in "Settings" or perhaps Oculus Tray?

You can use Oculus Tray Tool and set a profile up for BoS to run it with ASW off amongst other things like SS. ASW causes some of those graphic anomalies like squiggly gunsight recticle and blurring of planes as they fly past.

I much prefer flying with ASW off.
