TP_Jacko Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) I liked this. I would never have thought to try taking off just looking at the compass. I tried it once following the ball but it was not a pleasant experience Edited January 19, 2018 by TP_Jacko
=OPFR=ColNinny Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 Great stuff! Thanks, I'll do one with the BF-109 F4 which has no AI gyro. God knows how they actually survived in inclement weather! Related instrument flying and low level nav stuff here: Basic map reading and orientation. Cheers, 1

As for OP great video so many good training vids on the tube
[CPT]CptJackSparrow Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Gyro failure in IMC, good times. When I received my instrument ticket we did partial panel all the time. My guy at the time was a CFII and a real stickler for preparing for those rare IMC failures.
[CPT]CptJackSparrow Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Once you go IFR you never want to fly vfr again.
