Default skin files?

Can I access the default skins .dds files? I would like to use some as a guide for doing some of my own skins. I'm particularly interested in the Bf-109E7 "Red 3".

Default skin files are encoded in some *.gtp files (don't remember exactly the name of the files).

You need the unGTP software to extract them.

 

But it seems to me that unGTP doesn't works properly since the release of the 2.012 version.

Last time I've tried the extraded DDS files couldn't be opened with Photoshop.

I didn't try anymore.

 

May be there are alternative solutions ...
