Also, can the Heinkel do transport missions as well? It makes no sense to restrict the transport missions in the campaign to Ju 52s.

It is coming with the next update, before end of winter from what I understand.

Check out this post of Blacksix about career units for transport during BOM and BOK. There are He-111 transport units in the list. I don't know if they are going to make it into the career mode, but it''s a possibility.

There will be only Ju 52 transport units:

 

KGrzbV 9 (BOM, BOS)

KGrzbV 50 (II./TG 3) (BOM, BOS, BOK)

KGrzbV 102 (III./TG 3) (BOM, BOS, BOK)

 

and AI units

 

KGrzbV 105 (BOM)

KGrzbV 500 (BOS)

KGrzbV 600 (BOM)

KGrzbV 700 (BOS)

KGrzbV 900 (BOS)

But why? Heinkels flew transport missions as well. At least make it so that Heinkel units start flying transport sorties once the ring closes.

We've no any transport equipment for He 111 and I had big problems to find the histories of these groups for the career.

I'm actually really excited for the career, so many play through's I am going to want to try in so many different Aircraft. I know that sooner or later I am just going to have to have a JU 52 play through, at least until my pilot dies, which knowing my luck will be his first trip out lol
