hames123 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 I have always wanted to get CLOD, but the huge mess it was put me off. However, after the Blitz edition, I thought I might look at it again. I have a few questions. Firstly, does it have lots of single player content with the game itself? Career mode, campaigns, single missions etc? Secondly, do you need a joystick, or can you use a mouse? My old joystick broke after many years of good service, and it may be a long while before I can get a replacement. Therefore, I would like to know if I can play this with a mouse like the other Il-2 series games.

No, same stuff like in 2011+campaigns made by users you can find on ATAG forum Secondly, do you need a joystick, or can you use a mouse? Sokol1 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Therefore, I would like to know if I can play this with a mouse like the other Il-2 series games. You can fly using keyboard keys (arrows or WASD) in incremental mode, but not option for assign mouse axes or "point and follow" like WT. BTW - CloD always was demanding on computer and BLITZ more, requiring 64 Bits OS and a good DX 11 VGA.
