I currently have the Warthog HOTAS and I was curious if there was a way to map both positions of a switch? For example, bomb bay doors. right now its

Joy 2-Button 24

However, thats same switch also has a button 23.

Can I map both buttons so switching it in the opposite position will still activate the command?

Yes you can, each game command accept up to 3 keys/buttons for do the action, so map button 22 and 23 for bomb bay.

For the other ON/OF switch on this you can use Joy2Key and map function for Button ON and Button OFF, example:

Switch down = G

Switch up = G

Can use TARGET for do this, but is unnecessary "complication".

Ahh thank you good sir. I wasnt thinking outside the box. I was trying to map they keys to one column and not thinking about the other columns that were in the mapping.

I wonder how you can do a on/off with lights for example with Joy2Key?

Assigned to the Engine switch on my warthog hotas throttle.

Joy2Key only recognize when I switch the switcher up, and not down......

(That is a 2 way swtich) Maybe it does not work to do a on/off function with that?

For have command in OFF stated of a ON-OFF toggle switch (e.g. the ones in Warthog throttle base)

in JoyTokey in "Keyboard 2" tab need tick the box:  Input [1] when buttons is released, (and) Input[2] when is pressed.*

This will work for some planes lights, putting the same key in ON and OFF (like Landing Gear example above), since the game don't allow map a key for ON and other for OFF (like Flaps and now Landing Gear). For some aircraft is not possible because they have 3 positions of lights (I think LaGG).

JoyToKey has too "buttons alias", that is when you press a physical button in stick/throttle another virtual button is pressed, so can execute 2 commands with one button press.

* I think is the commands are execute other way around, but in easy check in practice, no big issue.

When i use joytokey with the input 1 and 2 for navigation lights it still only works with one of the directions, if have some way of using the 2-way switches for that could you maybe post a picture of your setting for that key in il2 and joytokey?
