Hide hud

Hide hud button would be nice (if it's not there already) I know you can turn off windows but if you have like 3 it takes time and  it quite annoying, then you have to turn it all on. It would be nice for screenshots if you could hide hud with 1 button like in BoX.

You cant i think, once you delete them it's gone and you have to create it all again. Right mouse button, add new Windows and then edit it to add whatever you want in it. There are Guides on YT how to manage windows in clod.

No key exist to turn ON and OFF like in IL-2:46 - and no much reason for keep the part of "HUD" with dumb things like " Wheelbrakes 82%"  " Wheelbrakes 83%"  " Wheelbrakes 84%"  " Wheelbrakes 85%"... or "Gunsight Light ON"...   

 

I only don't turn OFF due British compass,  they forget to add the "Lubber Line" for set "Red on Red" in their 3D, so rest rely in  HUD digital indication.

 

Anyway you can take screenshots with clear screen in tracks - there are options to hide the Info Windows, but as CloD is "CloD", not all effects is recorded in tracks.

 

As deal with CLoD need "N" workarounds, one for screenshot purpose in SP.

 

1 - Backup your ConfUser.ini, (in Documents\1C Soft...dover\) there is stored Info Windows settings.

2 - Close all Info Windows, make a copy of the new ConfUser.ini

 

Alternate between two.

 

 

How do you turn the windows back on. LoL 

 

Press and hold ALT key, point over the Info Window area  - all text, sliders on screen have a invisible window behind, the "Info Window".

 

In pop-up menu select "Close Info Windows", this will close that Info Window, not all at same time.

 

As you will notice, the pop-up don't show option for "Open Info Windows" - so after if want back need create a new Info Window and add what want see. 

 

Info Windows can be customized at some degree, e.g. engine slider can be turned in digital text and %.
