So as it stands we are listening to feedback and steadily working through updates and fixes. Here's news on the fuel tank fire which many reported to be too extreme, so it's being toned down to make it still extensive but no longer extreme?

 

This will be included in a January patch (still being built) and be part of a selection of fixes to issues including code work, map details, effects and others (detailed in the patch notes).

 

So for now here are a few pictures of the updated fuel tank fire effect, cheers, MP/TFS

I like them, extreme or not.

(never seen this in real life, thankfully :) )

This smoke in "puff's" need work too (same for water leaking).

 

IMO - Original fire and smokes still better - looking gasoline fire on that Kodachrome gun-cans and not the actual "paper fire", needing maybe some color tuning.

here it's big smoke like we have now, guess this dense smoke was realistic too. Later you could see little smoke like on screenshots posted by puma. Maybe combine them, so heavy smoke on critical hit with huge flames for few seconds and then it fades away.

Do you plan also to adjust "snipering" of the AI gunners?

Maybe an average between 4.3 and 4.5 gunners ability would be the best?

Rebalancing the weird purplish/bluish hue to the new fire would be nice too.

 

In a lot of ways the new FX were downgrades compared to 4.312

Can you get rid of the cold start too?  It's completely unhistorical and just absurd now.
