HeavyCavalrySgt Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 7 days left. Kermit Weeks built a reproduction Benoist, finished it yesterday. Now the FAA has to certify it, and he has to get it to St. Petersburg - fortunately not far down the highway from Polk City. I hope he will be able to fly it 100 years to the day of the original flight, but weather and bureaucracy may complicate things. http://www.abcactionnews.com/dpp/news/region_polk/founder-of-fantasy-of-flight-almost-done-reproducing-historic-plane-that-started-commercial-aviation

Gort Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 There have been flying cars for decades, just no practical market for them.
