NB: I see the Insignia on my web page http://www.332viking...ocs/rank_lw.htm is diffrent regarding this  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Ranks_of_the_Luftwaffe_(1935%E2%80%9345) this has more colour to its Insignia is it the same  for LW WWII ?

what about Red Army Insignia dos it look ok? nothing missing or teh wrong rank for pilots :D

The wikipedia page you linked has more colour because it includes all sort of luftwaffe branches:

Regarding Obergefreiter and Hauptgefreiter ranks during WW2, afaik they were only given to soldiers that demonstrated complete lack of leadership potential etc. The promototing to Unteroffizier and Obergefreiter both happened after one year so I am pretty sure the vast bulk of pilots never were promoted to Obergefreiter not to mention Hauptgefreiter, consequently I would just drop them unless you also have gunner careers.

Thx for Your feedbak  ImPeRaToR did not know that ;-) ,

I think I just have it on as a extra bonus to give my Rank/Promtions system a extra bonus for pilots to get 2 more Rank promotions since my system can have 14-15 Rank/spots :D (always fun to get promoted ;-) )

The Insignia I use on my web is this the correct Luftwaffe pilot Rank Insignia for the Luftwaffe pilots?

I'd also add that Stabsfeldwebel was a very rare rank for Luftwaffe pilots. It was only open to those who had enlisted for 25 years, and most of those who reached that rank in the Luftwaffe were on ground duties only.

+1

Fähnrich and Oberfähnrich are not unusual.

Thx Gents, in short if I get it right the Rank of ,  Obergefreiter, Hauptgefreiter (until1944) / Stabsgefreiter (from 1944) was usely not given to pilots but moust likely ground crew..........
