Is there any way to set up audio in order to get louder radio messages? I cannot understand what they are saying when sitting in cockpit and engine is running at high revs and there is no subtitle.

Hoe there is a way to tune radio messages.

if you mean the system radio messages, then you can see what they are saying with the hud on. I usually fly with hud off (vr) and flick the hud on when I hear an unusual sounding message, and it pops up on the left hand side of the screen...translated as well.

You'll work it out eventually.  The AI say the same thing, over and over and over and #$%@&^* over again.

I fly without using the hud. I want to hear what they are talking for better immersion. I hope the developers will include an option to tune down engine and tune up radio sounds.

Maybe you have a point about the radio messages being too quiet, but if you saw the %$@*storm over in WT about the ability to change own engine sound volume separately from other things... yeah, the fact these settings are locked down in BOS is a good thing and muffled radio is a price I'm willing to pay.

In reality, with the radios of the WW2 and the sound level of the engine the pilots sometimes had to have trouble to get along in the intercom without counting the crackling of all kinds ... for the Russians had to be the worst .

I fly regularly on a MS505 "criquet" (French Storch) with radial engine .. I often have trouble hearing my passenger in the intercom and the controller of the control tower .. which requires training, even with a radio and a modern helmet
