Where do I find the Mission Editor please ?

OK,my apologies in advance......I am very new to BoS/BoM and I am trying to locate the mission editor,where do I find this within my system please ?

I was searching for a Mission Builder, like in IL-2 Sturmovik 46, but...

... sorry but I have no Editor folder in Mission/bin.

The unique folders presents in Mission/bin are:

- cef

- panorama

- shaders

and a series of .dll files...

 

I precise that my BoS game is purchased on DVD, english version, needing steam recording, release 2.012d.

Where can I locate or download the mission editor ?

Have a look on the message from Hubertmeyer, above, he gave you the path where is the editor.

Habu, I have just explained that, in my DVD the indicated path does not exist, this is my problem.

Alfaunostebas11, the directory you gave in your response was Mission/bin, which is incorrect. HubertMeyer wrote IL-2 Sturmovik/bin/editor. Is that the directory you looked for? If so check the following:

 

- SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad/bin/editor  (the text in bold could be something different like IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Moscow, depending on what you originally installed)

 

- Do a search for the editor file STEditor.exe

 

  Make sure you search the folder that you choose plus all subfolders. Do that as follows:

 

1. Open Windows Explorer.

 

2. Select Organize / Folder and Search options.

 

3. Select the Search tab.

 

4. In the How to search section, select the Include subfolders in search results when searching in file folders option.

First of all I apologize because I want to refer to bin/ editor and not mission/bin which does not exist.

Actually I confirm that in my system I don't have that folder.

But, searching the name of file STEditor.exe, I have found it !!!

Do you want to know where this rascal of file was hiding?

In such path:

Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\editor....

But now the problem is solved, thanks to everyone
