SCG_Darbzy Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 With no Pacific campaign on the horizon for IL-2, I decided to take matters into my own hands! I tried to recreate a morning patrol from Seven Mile Airstrip at Port Moresby, New Guinea, to the Japanese held township of Lae on the north coast. Similar solo recce flights were undertaken every morning by the No. 75 Squadron CO, Sqn Ldr John Jackson, during the Battle of Port Moresby in early 1942. The fantastic RAAF skins are courtesy of Chappy. For some reason light stuttering has been introduced in a few places during the rendering process. Not sure why, but I apologise in advance. 1
SCG_Darbzy Posted January 1, 2018 Author Posted January 1, 2018 Thanks mate, I'm glad you liked it. Making Kuban look like New Guinea was a challenge!
