=gRiJ=Roman- Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) Do you remember these programs for the old IL2 1946? It seems that with more and more crates coming over, we'll need a program like this soon. But it would be wonderful if it could be redone by the devs to the high quality level of the new IL2 GBS and integrated in the interface. This is just my opinion anyway. It would be especially useful for quick reference purposes. Edited December 30, 2017 by -=PHX=-Spartan- 1
curiousGamblerr Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 (edited) If someone wants to turn the aircraft statistics into a computer readable format, I could throw something together in no time. I've thought about it when folks mentioned this before, but the thing keeping me from it is data entry (writing code to parse the sorta disorganized stats text we have currently seems like a pain). Put all the info from the stats tab into JSON or something and this would be a cinch. Edited January 1, 2018 by 19//curiousGamblerr
=gRiJ=Roman- Posted January 1, 2018 Author Posted January 1, 2018 (edited) It would be great if it could be done. I usually like to fly all the planes in the Sim but it is impossible to remember the important details such as a radiators, RPM, supercharger, weapons and how long they last, etc. A blend of the two old programs from IL2 1946 would be VERY useful to many of us and the ability to see the performance curves and compare aircraft is essential as well. Honestly, I am surprised that this hasn't been done yet, especially now that there are a limited number of planes. I'd like to know what other pilots think because almost no answers (CuriousGamblerr) is not a good sign. Edited January 1, 2018 by -=PHX=-Spartan-
