HappyHaddock Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Hi folks, I'm sure this must have been asked before but my search attempts aren't finding the answer to my exact question. Although there are enough similar enquiries out there to make me think that what I want may be achievable I've not found the explanation as to how to actually achieve it. I dislike running software through Steam and know that the various BOX software can be bought and downloaded direct from the dev's website without needing steam. I've little interest in WWII but when Flying Circus becomes available I'll be pre-ordering that through the dev's website. However, I'm left wondering will I have early access to planes with nowhere to fly them waiting for the WWI map to release? So my question relates to a purchase made ages ago. When BOS first released I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and to see what I could carry backwards for modifying ROF. Someone gave me a copy of BOS on DVD but as this required steam it's remained pretty much unused after installing it other than a few years ago when I was plundering bits of code from it to see what I could make work in ROF. I'm now wondering if it's possible to use the license key provided in the box with that first DVD to install/re-install a none-steam version of BOS or if my existing account/license can be changed to a none-steam version so as to have somewhere to use anything available by way of early access WWI aircraft? Cheers HH
