... after a USB port swap.  I installed Oculus Rift and wanted to do some flying.  To do the install I had to swap around some USB connectors.  Unfortunately now none of my CH products work.  When I run CH Control Manager it doesn't respond to test/calibrate.  So ... here I am with my nice new VR setup and I can't control the plane.

I have in years past asked CH about issues (I have had many).  One thing that they suggest is to plug the gear into the main box and not the port hub.  Problem is that Rift MUST be plugged into the USB 3.0 ports on my box so all I have left is the slots on the USB hub.

All of the devices show as working correctly in the windows control panel.  I did try plugging the stick into the front USB on the box - no luck.

Use other than Control Manager, such as JoyToKey.  I use this with my CH Pro Throttle.  There are other third party software that do similar things.

Thanks for the link.  Strange but that tool does not pick up the stick either.  Windows does - nothing else seems to.

I read somewhere a few things that may be contributing to your CH woes:

1) CH and USB 3.0 do not play well together, and

2) CH controllers must remain plugged into the USB port they were originally configured with.

I will attempt to dig up the links for you.
