Blitzen Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) Santa brought a CH Pro Pedals set and I couldn't be happier, but let me ask: I was given only two choices to integrate the pedals in the easy install: MSFFB & Xbox Controller. I chose FFB of course even tho I "fly" BoX with a KB Gladiator stick. I assume this is still the way to go right? The pedals do their job but I notice the twist handle on the stick still works as well, so I assume there is no way to disable this function? Finally there seems to be virtually ( sorry couldn't resist...ooops!) no resistance in the the sliding pedals & there seems to be no way to programs this unless there is a way to do it in game settings. If this is so ...how? I have programmed toe brakes as well & this was pretty straight forward. I haven't tried them yet but this should make ground handling a bit more realistic & perhaps easier as well. SharpeXB Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Just plug in the pedals and assign them in the BoS axis menu directly. Unassign any other controller you had mapped to the yaw or brake axis. You should be good. You’ll want the CH Control Manager software in order to calibrate the device. This makes sure you get the full range of movement and correct centering.
Sokol1 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 ...I notice the twist handle on the stick still works as well, so I assume there is no way to disable this function? In VKB DevCFG is possible disable Gladiator twist axis, but is a complicate process, so just leave this unassigned, or better assign this twist for "Wheel brakes" (both), will be useful for Bo'X planes that don't use "joe brakes".
